Inside and Outside, Plein Air to Studio

Learn to paint in a fresh and simplified style. Each day will begin with a short demonstration and quick lecture followed by students painting the remainder of the day. We will do studies/paintings outside and bring that knowledge inside for studio paintings. The workshop is designed to encourage artists at all levels to attain greater mastery of their painting skills. Fran will review the basics of solid design and composition, color, values, edges and paint application.

​ This 3-day workshop is limited to 12 participants. The class will be kept small with ample time for individualized instruction at the easel.

The cost of the workshop is $300. You will need to register and pay a $100 deposit to insure your spot in this immersive, hands-on workshop. The remainder will be billed to you to complete the registration process. You will receive a supply list and other information after you register.
